There needs to be a "rename" option in the right-click menu for iLogic forms. Currently the only way to rename is to use the F2 key, or click the rule name twice slowly.
In order to rename an iLogic rule we need to select the rule in browser and press key 'F2' or click in the name and waiting for 2 second, click it again. It just isn't discoverable.
Please add in the RMB menu of the iLogic browser the „Rename Rule” option for both Rules and External Rules.
After further review it was decided to leave this behavior as is (for consistency). Other rename operations do not expose a contextual (RMB) option to rename. If we made this change in iLogic alone, we would immediately be inconsistent with other areas. Even though it may not be very discoverable, highlighting the browser and selectiing the F2 Key or invoking a slow, double, left-click will continue to be the best way to rename a iLogic rule. Hmm... late to the party here, but... I can say I too have right-clicked iLogic rules dozens of times trying to rename them, but I don't think I've ever tried right-clicking a model browser node to rename it. For some reason, there's a subconscious but clear distinction between the two in my mind.
After giving it some thought, I think the distinction is pretty straightforward: model browser nodes do not directly represent files, while iLogic nodes do. When I right-click on a file, I expect to see a "Rename" option, as I see when right-clicking a file in Windows Explorer. I don't have this same expectation for model browser nodes because I know those represent assembly occurrences (or even more abstract: Part features or drawing sheets), not files themselves, so I'm just used to them playing by a different set of rules.
I think this would be worth reconsidering (at least for un-archiving), even if the same thing isn't implemented for model browser nodes (which, by the way, has also been asked for).
