As the subject states, it would be nice if we could add iFeatures to weldments in the "Machining" environment, especially when the base part needs to be shown without the iFeature in place for 3D Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), and the feature then added as it would be - in the post-production machining phase. Instead of having to draw a cross-section of an SAE port, and revolve it to create the desired feature, for instance.
This would help in giving the printer the simplified part, which can then be machined as needed.
