Adaptive Part's Assembly Reference in Part Document Settings

Adaptive Part's Assembly Reference in Part Document Settings

Only one occurrence of an ipt can be made adaptive in an assembly. So it will be helpful if we can see the assembly file name & path in part document settings as per below snip.

This way we can find the assembly in which the part is made adaptive and if necessary we can go to that assembly, remove adaptivity from that assembly and make part adaptive in new assembly.

And in Assembly, for 2nd occurrence, instead of grayed out Adaptivity, if we click on Adaptive, inventor should open up a window and tell designer that part is already adaptive and used in .............iam

In my opinion, this information should be provided in the adaptive reference tree given in IV... Having the part reference is ok... but if it is adaptive, it is usually due to something being referenced in an assembly... not the part directly... The Assembly is where the adaptation happens, where the part is only just the direct reference, there is no context if I am only provided part. Would be super helpful to maybe have a link to, "Open in Context" where it would open the assembly and show the part in context of the assembly... and yup, you guessed it - SWx has this type of functionality...
