3D Print Structure

3D Print Structure

I would love to have a texture/Material in Inventor, which imitates a 3D printed part.

FDM (and other method) prints actually have layers visible at the outside due to the production method.

There are different layer heights used, of course, but a standard one like 0.15 mm or so would be cool...

...right? 😉

I would suggest an improvement of the compatibility between inventor and 3d printing (slicer), as the models created are not always printable correctly. For example, with models already in stl downloaded from the internet that are read correctly. it happened to me, for example, when trying to print the cup for bleeding the brakes from Shimano, the slicer did not reproduce the thread made with the specific application of inventor (cool orange).
