Exporting individual bodies

Is there any way to export individual .stl bodies from Inventor Fusion?

Not having that feature makes it really difficult to design and 3D print assemblies.

Right now, I'm having to save multiple copies of the file and delete the unwanted bodies. Kind of a pain.

Thanks,

Mark

Are you using Inventor Fusion for Mac or are you running Inventor Fusion 2013 (PC)?

There is currently no way to do what you want in Inventor Fusion for Mac. We will not be updating this program.

The good news is that what you want is available in Fusion 360. Have you considered moving to Fusion 360?

See more here: http://fusion360.autodesk.com/about

Key benefits of Fusion 360:

  • Export individual bodies directly to Mesh Mixer for 3D printing.
  • Massive materials library.
  • High quality renderings.
  • Parametric modeling with history.
  • Or continue modeling without history as you are accustomed to.
  • Roll back to an earlier version of a design.
  • Much much more...

You can upload all your current designs and continue to work on them too.

Let us know what you think, and thanks!
