Zero Quantity: all instances of his component are suppressed

Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with the BOM in Inventor Professional 2026.
This is an assembly made up of parts and subassemblies, and the issue is specifically with one of those subassemblies.
In BOM > Model Data, the parts inside that subassembly are showing with quantity zero, but those parts are actually present in the assembly and are part of that subassembly.
The note I get is: “Zero Quantity: all instances of this component are suppressed.”
A few additional details:
- All of the parts have BOM Structure = Normal
- In BOM > Structured, the subassembly itself shows with the correct quantity
- In BOM > Parts Only, all of the parts inside that subassembly also show with the correct quantities
However, when I need to present the BOM as Structured, I only get the subassembly as a single item. The child parts do not appear, and that is not the result I need.
So my question is:
Why would the components of that subassembly appear with zero quantity in Model Data as if they were suppressed, while at the same time appearing correctly in Parts Only, and with the subassembly itself showing correctly in Structured?
I’m also working with Model States, so I’m not sure whether that could be related.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
