Simplify/ phantom drawing

Hello! Inventor 2023. A new Simplify substitute Model State was created, called LITE2 in the video. When placing the view on the drawing, it is invisible (while it is not invisible in the 3D model). I have to manually make it visible. If it’s not clear, what I mean is this: having lightweight models not only for 3D, but also for drawings. Why does this happen? Is it intended behavior?

@admaiora could you please check the result of Simplify substitute Model State? Is it a surface or solid? If possible, could you please share the dataset with me via: river-yijiang.cai@autodesk.com for a try? Thank you!

Thanks,

Hi Matteo,

As River has already alluded, it is possible the substitute has a composite body. By default, the surface bodies are not included in the drawing view. You may edit the view (or recreate the view) -> Recovery -> check "Include surface bodies."

Many thanks!
