Working clock mechanism

Hi 

Would anyone know if its possible to simulate a functioning pendulum clock with any of the auto desk software's. The clock design is of the galileo escapement type. I want to be able to have the pendulum moving as a result of the force from the force from the stored energy in the wound up weight and from the gravitational energy when turning directions. At the same time the weight which is held by a string would unwind itself.  Need to show this to a science class lesson. Thanks in advance
