hi this wont extrude, im trying to make a skeleton for a frame but it wont extrude, please help

You need to do this on a part level and place it in an assembly

Please try this.

  1. Create a sketch file (IPT). It is also called skeleton when using frame generator.
  2. Insert the skeleton in the assembly file.
  3. Start the frame generator and follow the instructions. It will create individual part files (IPT) for the frame members.

Otherwise, extruding solid in assembly (IAM) is not possible (wont extrude as you mentioned), except cutting off solid(s) in assembly.

A circle is the locus of a cursor, starting and ending at the same point on a plane in model space or in layout such that its distance from a given coordinates (X,Y) is always constant.
X² + Y² = C²

You cant send just the assembly, we need ALL components that also go with that assembly.
