Windows 10 - Inventor will not install - Student

Hi,

I'm a student studying Product Design and of course this is a must alongside Sketchup! Whilst it has managed to remain on my PC at home, It is now refusing to install onto my laptop. It's definatley able to run and is the 2015 version I am installing (For 32bit support). I have tried running in compatability mode but the situation remains the same and it will close after the message. I have included a screenshot of the message.

Any help is appreciated!

Thank You.

did you download the 32 bit version of the program from the virtual agent?

the error message looks pretty clear to me..

Roll back to Windows 7 or 8.1

Looks like they have disallowed installation on anything but supported operating systems for the 32 bit versions..

Of course a new computer woudl be good too.. (since a 32 bit computer is OLD)

Thanks for the quick replies! Its one of the new Atom 2in1's - More powerful than I anticipated. It runs the 32bit Windows (Quite frustrating really) so yeah, thats the situation I'm in.

(And talthough an Atom - They are far more powerful than you'd expect. For example Sketchup and Warframe run well! :'D)
