Wind and snow loads on a structure

I was wondering if I could somehow use Inventor 2011 Pro to produce the wind and snow load on a structures roof?  If so How would I go about doing this. My boss wants me to find the loads, I am not a PE but I am a softmore working my way through engineering school.

Thanks for your help

Hi! You can convert wind load and snow load to pressure. Inventor allows you to specify the pressure on faces. In terms of the load equations, you can do a search on web. There are plenty of pages dedicated to this topic.

Thanks!
