WSo sometimes I'll be working on something, usually an assembly, and I'll save it before closing the file. But then when I click the close button it tells me something has changed and asks to save again.

Nothing has changed since I hit save literally 3 seconds before. Why does this sometimes happen?

Hi! This is a bug. It means either something was marked dirty after the first save. Or Inventor was not aware of the need to save something. If possible, please share the files that reproduce the behavior.

You may also check the file dirty flag after the first save (Help -> About -> press Ctrl+D). A small dialog will show what file dirty flag is raised.

Many thanks!

Similar issues on our end. In combination with vault it also happens. Save and check in a file and then it ask to check it out again to save it again. Will have a look if it happens to files which I can share.
