When I try to install inventor 2020 I get a directory and the installer crashes

I did a pretty messy job of uninstalling inventor 2018, and now when I try to install inventor 2020 there is an error window that pops up while the main installer program is in the initialization process, and when you close the error window the inventor installation tool also closes. I did have a virus on my computer before that caused me to get the 1603 error, but I removed it, so I have no idea what is going on.

I would start from scratch, uninstall the software, then a run through with MS Fixit: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-instal...

Then reinstall using browser download as admin.

No I didn't find those in my directory.
