What Is This Symbol ?

I opened a pre-existing assembly and it has an odd looking triad in the center. It doesn't look like a UCS and isn't connected to any parts in the assembly. It is selectable for measure & look at but other than that, not so much. I don't see it in the browser nor any right click context menus. 

Can anyone identify it, what is its purpose and how do I turn it off as it doesn't seem to be serving any purpose?

Possibly Center of Gravity?

On the View tab....

That's it! I clicked it and that toggles it on/off. It also asked to update and when I did it changed to color as in your image. Thanks, that was driving me crazy. No one here had any idea and since I didn't know what it was, I didn't know how to search for similar questions.
