What is this dialog box?

Hi there,

When I type something that isn't assigned to a specific shortcut (some letters, numbers), this dialog box comes up. The problem for me is that for some reason it will pop up randomly while I am in the middle of doing something else; e.g. if I am modifying an extrusion to say, 58.125", many times I will get as far as 58, then the dialog box somehow opens and I end up typing .125 into it without realizing it, then have to X out of it, select the input for the extrusion and finish the dimension. How on earth do I get rid of this annoying feature? I am using Inventor Pro 2020.

What happens if you click the question mark icon?  IF it takes you to a specific help item, that could help determine why it shows up.

Oh wow. I had done that and the command alias and shortcuts help came up, but for some reason I did not think it was applicable to my problem. Upon closer inspection though, it did in fact tell me how to shut this feature off, namely Options>General> uncheck 'show command alias input dialog'.

That took care of it, thanks!
