What is it telling me?

Hi! Like experts have mentioned here, take a look at the two threads. If you don't understand Adaptive, likely you may not need it. I would suggest you turn off the following options so you don't see Adaptivity.

Go Tools -> Application Options -> Assembly -> In-place features -> uncheck both boxes for "Cross part geometry projection."

That's certainly my category.  I don't understand it, and I don't see any use for it (at present anyway), so I don't need it.  To avoid complications I won't even turn it off - I'll just ignore it.  At least I have some idea of what it means.
