What is allowable thread pressure?

Within the bolted connection design assistant there is a category for allowable thread pressure. Does anyone have any links or info on what this is? I'm struggling to find anything (that I can understand anyway!)

Hi, David.  I found the same thing from the Inventor 2023 Help. Can you try this link?

ah, thanks. that link works.

but don't really tell me what it is. Maybe it's more of an engineering question rather than an Autodesk question. However when I google it most of the answers point specifically to the bolted connection design assistant.

It is a number user set so IV can highlight if "thread pressure" is too high.

No idea what it is and which industry use it.

I usually just use stress.

All commercial nuts and bolts has max allow load and stress.

More to read on bolts, not really about "thread pressure":

https://www.fastenal.com/content/feds/pdf/Article%20-%20Bolted%20Joint%20Design.pdf

This one has "Surface Pressure" on page 25:

Hi David. Use below table  for "Allowable pressure in threads of connection bolts":
