Dynamic Simulation - Parallelism

Hi,

I am lost in this case.

This is the movement.

The gold part is always horizontal.

Any idea how to apply this condition in the dynamic simulation enviroment (without pig parts)?

Thanks!

You could use a "dummy" block constrained to planar motion relative to the base and then constrain the vertical planes.  Hide the visibility of the dummy.

But of course this raises the question, "What constrains the orientation in the real mechanism?"

Hi @JDMather

Many thanks.

yeah, I already solved it with a pig part, I was wondering if there was something smoother.

Not sure about what mantain vertical the part.

What do you think?
