What does Styles Editor Save

Hi All,

New to Inventor and had a quick styles editor question.

When you click save...

Does this save / upload just the "active styles", "local styles", or "all styles" to the design data folder?

Cheers

Hi

Before saving, changing the style settings applies only to the active document.

To be able to save styles permanently, change the project settings to read-save mode.

Hi!

As Kacper mentioned here, the Save command saves any local standards and styles that are different than the same named ones on the library back to the Styles Library.

Many thanks!

Thank you for the response. Would it remove any styles if you delete / purge them?

Cheers

Hi! No, the Save command only save the selected styles back to the library. Purge is a different command and it only purge the styles within a document, not in the library.

Many thanks!
