Weld error

Hello,

I am trying to add a filet weld to a part. The preview is generated correctly. When applied the weld fails with a weird error about an "offset"... See the shot-screens attached here. The inventor files are in the zip.

This error seems to have something to do with the way the part is created, which is a derivation from an assembly. One can get rig of it by deleting any of the three components in the assembly?! However, this does not solve the problem in general which will still appear if other components are added to the weldment ...

Hi! Many thanks for sharing the files! This is indeed a geometry specific bug. It should just work. I will work with the project team to understand the behavior better. However, I don't anticipate a quick fix.

Here is a simple workaround to bypass the issue. Open the body.ipt. Use Split tool -> pick XZ plane to split all faces (particularly the fillet participating faces). After that, the Fillet Weld will work.
