We need an "Add to Existing Folder" option!

Unless I'm missing something I know I can create "user folders" within my browser window as a way of organizing the browser and group components in a logical way. I know I can RMB click on a component in the model window or browser window and I have to option to "add that part to a New Folder"... but what I don't have and what we should have is the ability to add that part or a selection of parts to an "already existing folder".

The reason I ask is because I have imported data from a customer that is a flat build of 416 iges parts.... and I keep having to highlight the ones I want and then "scroll" to the bottom of the browser to then add them to my folder... sure would be nice to just have the option to add them to a list of already created folder with a RMB click

Chris..Drag/drop is the currently supported process for that..

I agree that being able to multiple select then right click and select "add to folder" and then being given a selection of current folders would be nice functionality..

But its not there now..

As such please recreate your post over in the Inventor "Ideastation" where stuff like that belongs (requests for new functionality,etc.. go there)

You can click the "report" button and ask the moderators to delete it.. BUT...

Just leave it and include a link to your ideastation post here so others that may stumble upon this post in the future can also quickly access your link..
