Is there a way to set the visual style settings so that smooth edges dont show the "edge lines"?

I know Catia has this visual style and its really useful for complex parts that has a lot of both smooth and sharp edges for instance casted  parts with a lot of machining.

So what it does is it's kind of highlights unfilleted edges so that it's easier to spot any errors in the model.

Hi,

you can create a shaded drawing view and switch tangential edges on/off.

Are you referring to the graphics window while modeling or on a drawing?

If in the graphics window, you can cycle the display by the View Tab > Appearance Panel > Visual Style Drop Down:

A default can be set for how you prefer to model by going to Tools > Application Options > Display tab > Appearance Section > Use Application Settings Radio Button > Settings Button > Visual Style Drop Down:

I believe you will need to reboot INV for this to take over. Now, every model you open will be viewed how you like it.

Hi! Unfortunately, I am not aware of an option to suppress smooth edges but keep other edges unchanged.

Many thanks!
