Video Render Problems

I've just completed my first animation in Inventor Studio and I can't seem to make the video renders come out properly. I've posted a couple videos on youtube here:

No Render- Preview option:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZok3pZFhXA

(the fade in/out isn't working properly and some components/shadows are still visible)

Render option:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7-xbOjrc_A

(background/components flashing and not rendering properly)

I'm rendering at 15-20 fps, High Antialiasing, into .wmv and .avi containers. I believe my hardware should be adequate for this...

Nvidia GeForce 460 GTX (2048 MB GDDR5)

8 GB DDR2 RAM, 800 MHz

AMD Phenom II X4 B50, 3.1 GHz

Win7 64-bit

One of the best codecs to get good videos is: Xvid MPEG-4 Codec

Search in the web by K-lite Mega Codec Pack

Make sure you are on the latest "Microsoft - Certified" graphics drivers from Nvidia. This solves a great number of problems.

All drivers are updated and certified. I've tried both k-lite and shark007 codecs and they didnt help. I don't think the problem is in the playback but rather in the render process (as evidenced by the problem translating to youtube).

I still don't have a solution to this nor have I found one from any other thread. Help would still be appreciated.

Thanks.

Perhaps my RAM is too slow/insufficient? (see OP for specs)

Don't think it's your memory. I would look at your Codex and try a different one. Your system spec's are fine.

Also Nvidia had some problems with a older version of drivers that has been fixed with the 270 version. I saw +50% performance improvement.

Don't use WMV. Try not using a  compression codec. This will create a much larger AVI file which can be imported into Camtasia or Adobe Premier and converted to a smaller, cleaner output file.

I've got the exact same problem and can't figure it out. I've tried most everything suggested. The shadows go away if ambient shadow optoin is turned off. Bud I'd like to keep the ambient shadows for the rest of the parts.
