I've just had this very strange error message popped when trying to start a new part, clicked Ok tried again and all OK, but puzzled as to what it means and why it happened

@Paul-Mason it looks that the template in your environment is corrupted. You could try to replace the existing one with healthy template document for a try. Thanks!

At a previous job I had similar errors - not when trying to start a new part and not a list of so many.

It seemed to be intermittent, I think some of the time I was working late when corporate IT didn't think anybody would be bothered by them messing about with servers and whatnot.

Did you get past it? Did you have to restart Inventor or have to restart your computer?

Maybe your template is on a network and something happened to happen to the network at the exact moment Inventor was trying to get to it. It was probably just a hiccup and your chances of encountering again are purely related to your karma.

Ended up doing doth, closed inventor restarted it, same thing happened, rebooted computer be OK for now

I'm in the habit of letting or putting my machine to sleep instead of closing down, I don't know if that has anything to do with it

But this is the first time I've come across this problem
