tl;dr - how can i simulate air muscles using inventor on a stewart platform.
Hey guys and girls,
to give you a somewhat brief description of what I need to acheive:
Basically I need to design a Stewart Platform using pneumatic air muscles and test the designs I've come up with using a drawing program. These Pnuematic Air Muscles can only contract and therefore can only move in 1 direction. What I need to do is find a way to simulate these Pneumatic Air Muscles using inventor so I can test my designs however I'm struggling to find an effective method to simulate these movements.
For those of you who don't know what a Stewart Platform it is basically this:
https://www.google.com.au/search?q=stewart+Platform&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=979&tbm=isch&imgil=465wygDqA...
This design doesn't using pnuematic air muscles and is only used to show what I need to achieve as an end result. Anyway if anyone can point me in the right direction as to how simulate these air muscles effectively so that they only tilt the top platform and don't raise the whole platform as well as having multiple connected to that top platform so that they all adjust as one is moved that would be very appreciated.
