Using a iLogic rule to run local update

Good Morning,

I have a multifunction rule to create different size structure base on the size of a Cyclone, it appears to work, but I have to Regenerate the Rule and do a Local Update. Is there any way I can add a variable in my rule to do this automatically?

Hi Neil_j51,

I think this should do it:

'update all
iLogicVb.UpdateWhenDone = True

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,

Thank You for your reply. I have tried the statement and it did help some, but I still have to right click on the rule to say regenerate to fix the model. Is there another statement I can add

Maybe cod must run inclusive for subassmbley and sub part too. I don't know exist or not.

I have similar issue for me and i saw that if i make deactive (Supress) someof subassembly with ilogic code, then this suppress subassemblies doesn't make locak update. I open seperatly and i done local update on it, then error was gone.
