Every time I restart Inventor I lose my Macro commands as seen in the picture below. I then have to re-add them by right clicking on the ribbon clicking on "customize user commands" etc
I believe there must be a setting I am missing because my co-workers don't have the same issue.
(using Inventor on 2023 on WINDOWS 11)
Hi! This could be user profile related. Please try the following and see if it works better.
1) Right-click on Inventor desktop icon -> Properties -> Compatibility -> check "Run as Admin."
2) Go to File Explorer -> %AppData% -> \Autodesk\Inventor 2023\ -> find "InventorCustomization.xml." This is the file storing your customized UI settings. Go back to Inventor and make some UI customization change and close Inventor. Check the xml file last saved date. Is it the latest?
