I posted this awhile ago but got no suitable answer so I'll try again.
I am using Inventor 2021 with a Microsoft Intellimouse. I have the mouse buttons set up so when I press one of the side buttons and the left mouse button I can orbit the model. My problem is that after I rotate the model to the desired orientation and release the two mouse buttons the model pans with no input from me. Sometimes it moves once, sometimes twice, sometimes up to six times. At times the model will go completely off screen and I have to pan to get back to it. I have tried all the different "hardware" setting under "tools" with no effect. I have updated my graphics driver with no effect. I have tried releasing the mouse buttons in various ways with no effect. Model size does not seem to matter. It does it on individual parts and on complex assemblies. I still have Inventor 2018 installed on the computer and am getting the same results there also. Any suggestions? Thanks. Phil

Hi! I am not sure if it is related. You may want to disable Windows Text Cursor. The other thing to try is to use the recommended screen resolution and scale.
Many thanks!

Johnson,
It is looking like a mouse problem. I should have a new one to try tomorrow.
