Uninstalling Inventor update on Win 11

How can I uninstall or roll-back an update of Inventor on Win 11? I installed 2023.3. and had allot of crashes since then, so I would like to go back to 2023.2.

Crashes result in software just closing, no warning, no reporting options, all on simple tasks as entering new User Parameters.

If I check List of installed updates in Control Panel, it lists only Windows updates.

Any suggestions?

During the installation of the update, a clear message appears that the operation cannot be undone - that is, the update itself cannot be uninstalled.
Inventor must be uninstalled and reinstalled to the expected level of update.

I am aware of that message but hoped that there is way to undo it. Current procedure is very time consuming and prone to cause additional problems if someone, for example, forgets to backup user settings. All this to remove a small and faulty update.

Roll-back was once possible and it should remain so, but that is a topic for another board.

Thank you for the answer.

this was changed because of how microsoft changed the way you uninstall updates in Windows 11 22H2

Hi.

Sorry to drop in on this thread but Win 11 users in our company are struggling with stability on the 2023.4 patch. (not sure about th 2023.3 patch).  Did you end up rolling back to solve the issues?  Have you tried the latest 2023 patches?  I see 2023.5.2 is available now.
