Unbending from pipe intersection geometry

Hi!

I would like to ask, how to unbend this part right. This means, it in necessary that the unbend part has only one line around and not twisted edges.

Thank you!

Welcome to the Forum.

I'm on IV2017 and the Sheet-Metal module has seen some updates for Unfolding. Earlier versions would stumble on this. To get a single edge for the unfold, you would need to model this differently.

First create your part as a surface model and trim it to the desired shape. Then use the Thicken command, convert to a sheet metal item, do the rip to create the Seam joint, set the Sheet-Metal thickness to the correct material thickness and do the Unfold.
