If you set "reuse", you will have several copies of the same sub-assembly, with the same parts.
This is a lot easy to control, have accurate part lists etc.
Note: Sometimes, due geometry specifications, parts can't be reused in a mirrored position, and in those cases it's not possible to use "reuse" and it's created a new mirrored part. In this specific case, all the parts can be reused.
