Cary,

I was able to perrfom the uninstall from your email. I removed both 2014 and 2018 from the machine, Deleted all the residual files.

I am still getting this error now when I try to launch AutoDesk Inventor 2014

Can someone recommend a fix? or what is going on?

Hi Peter,

Is this thread addressing somebody named Cary? You mentioned that you had already uninstalled 2014 and 2018 from the machine. Inventor 2014 will not run since it has been uninstalled. Could you go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> make sure all Inventor 2014 or 2018 related items have been uninstalled? Do you mind posting a snapshot of the Programs and Features dialog you are seeing?

Many thanks!

Who's email or what email are you talking about?

Also due to security risk certain files are not opened by users like me. Just use the forum tools instead of creating a document. Are you a student?

Update:  I was able to open your document on a machine that doesn't really matter if if it gets corrupted or not..  Smiley Very Happy  That message is telling me you are trying to install Inventor 2014 on an operating system that is not supported.  I would make sure you have applied all updates for Inventor 2014 and then relaunch the application.  Or it could be related to this.
