unable to emboss text, planning on engraving via cnc

I know that inventor has issues with custom fonts, I am using a custom Italian font for this project, see forum post:

The "solution" as posted in the forums is outdated and I can't find the link to the addon they are talking about.

I've attached the file.

The font will emboss as regular, but not when selected as bold.

with the font the way that it is.... just sketch text. I can select it in inventor cam for a emboss process, the issue there being the emboss only selects the perimeter of the text. I just need the text engraved on the plack and I'm totally out of ideas. any input is greatly appreciated.

Hi , it is about your font file , delete old font file and try to add the attached font file to the windows font folder , and it works.

how did you edit the font file? I've downloaded a few custom fonts, and most of them have intersecting loops and other sloppy geometry. Cheers,
