Tutorial files not the same as the online tutorial

I am trying to have students walk through the Dynamic Simulation and Stress Analysis tutorials at the following link:  https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor-products/getting-started/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/20...

However, I am unable to find the correct parts for all of the tutorials. I went and downloaded the sample files for the 2018 version but the models listed in the above link do not seem to be present. Are there updated tutorials for the models in the 2018 version, or is there a way to find the models listed in the above link? It seems that the above link is for 2014 version.

Hello Paul,

The tutorials you mention are several years old (R2014) and haven't been maintained and supported for a while. I'm not sure why the datasets disappeared because they should still be available if we continue to offer the legacy tutorial instructions. I'll do some checking to see if the datasets have been archived somewhere.

That said, one of the reasons those tutorials were retired was because they were not being maintained and we introduced the new guided tutorial format. To access the guided tutorials, click the Tutorial Gallery icon next to the Learning Path in the Get Started tab when you start Inventor. When the gallery opens, click Available Tutorials to view and download them. There is a Dynamic Simulation tutorial in the gallery that uses a 3D printable trebuchet as the model. There is also an FEA tutorial along with about 50 others.
