I must admit that it's been a while back when I did all this so test them out yourself

you can create Design View Representations and Level of Details for TP assembly.
While I don't know you application and desired end results, I can suggest you try LOD and View Reps to create configurations of same TP assembly.
This is also beneficiary and helps documenting individual runs on drawings. Remember that now we can created Parts List filters from "Design View Representation" and you get proper quantity as well.
That might be more appropriate than iAssemblies.
Have a read on >>this<< if you have time. I covered a bit of everything there but back then in 2015 we didn't had the option to match Parts List quantity to Visible only, so quantity was shown for the whole TP assembly.
The second part where I describe creating iAssembly for a single run is so that we can get correct quantity on the drawing and while it's not necessary anymore there is still some good info regarding iAssemblyes for TP.
