Hi
Does anyone know if it's possible to put a weldolet on a custom bend?
If not, would I have to model an elbow with the weldolet on it, and author itin T&P, then add the whole thing as a fitting?
Thanks for the help

I assume you are using routed system since you indicated you would author it... Is that correct?
Weldolets can only be placed on pipe segments and I don't believe it would allow you to use a standard or custom bent elbow. @cbenner any other thoughts?

There is such a thing as an elbolet (spelling?). I have seen pictures, but I have never attempted to create or author one. It is possible, however. Assuming you could model it, you could author it as an elbow. It would simply have an extra connection point. Once placed into a route, a NEW route could be created starting at the "olet" connection. I've even seen these with the "olet" off the side of the elbow, though this is pretty rare in what I do.
Of course, depending on what pipe spec you are working with, you could also use a tee at the corner and then reduce down to the new size with a concentric or a bushing or something. Hard to say without knowing your needs.
Good luck.

Thanks both for the replies.
Yes, it's a routed system.
It's just for a drain at a low point which happens to be on a bend. Sounds like I can't place the weldolet on a bend (only on a straight segment), so I think the best way would be to model it and then author it as an elbow as suggested.
Thanks for the help.

That is correct, a weldolet cannot go on a bend in routed systems.

Hello,
I don´t know the situation without a picture, but maybe you can use a tee and a plug instead of the elbow with elbolet?
