Trying to Create Nesting Utility Report Crashes Inventor

Thank you for sending your error report CER_189013985 to Autodesk.

Above you will find one of the two crash reports I have send.  Every time I try to create a Nesting Utility 2010.3 nest report, Inventor will crash before presenting the html report.  I have tried my report template and the default installed by the utility.  I have tried setting three different web browsers as default in Windows 10.  I have reinstalled the Nesting Utility 2019.3 update from a downloaded installation copy.

I have not had any issue with this function until installing the 2019.3 update.  It does not seem to be related to a particular sheet metal part, so take your pick. Let me know if you need any additional info.

Many thanks for reporting this issue! I have located the crash report you submitted. It seems to be related to a shared component used by multiple Autodesk products. It is unclear to me if this is a known issue and it is specific to this workflow. Does it happen to 2019.3 update? If you uninstall the update, would the crash still happen? I will work with project team to understand the issue better.

I think you meant to ask if I experienced the issue in Nesting Utility 2019.2 because as I stated the error I am experiencing is in 2019.3.  If this is what you wanted to know, no, I did not see an issues with the reporting in the Nesting Utility 2019.2.  

Thanks for for looking into this.  Do you have the ability to use the Nesting Utility 2019.3 and try to create a report yourself?

At the moment, I don't have access to Nesting Utility. Based on your description, the crash seems to be unique to Nesting 2019.3 update. I have informed the project team.

Can we get one clarification?

1) Are these reports on nests that were created from scratch with update 2019.3

or 

2) Are these reports on nests that were created in previous versions?

It could make a difference. 

In case 2) , can you make sure to Calculate your nests again to make sure that you are working with the latest report?
In case 1) , we have a html related problem we need to fix on our end.

All the reports I tried to create were new reports on new, created from scratch, nests created with the Nesting Utility 2019.3, so the answer is condition 1.  I created several, from scratch, nests and absolutely every one crashed Inventor without every giving me a glimpse of of the actual report.  I just tried another one, just to be sure, and it crashed.

Thanks for the confirmation.

To avoid the crashes for the time being, could you revert to update 2019.2 while we are figuring out the cause?

Nesting Utility 2019.3.1 HotFix is released, and the crash issue when clicking Report is resolved in the build. please have a try when you get a chance. let me know if any problem.
