Trouble creating flat pattern from a 3d part

I am trying to extract a flat pattern from the coil I did for a grease groove in a spring pin. To create the groove I used the coil command but had to do it in 6 seperate coil commands due to the design of the geometry.

Can someone please assist in telling me how I can extract the flat pattern of the coil?

I don't think the part is manufacturable as designed.  (see intersection of Coil 3 and 4)

Many of your sketches are unconstrained (starting with Sketch1)?

If I were trying to create a flat pattern representation for some reason 

I would Derive Component as Surface Body and then Thicken desired surfaces (you will need to come up with a connection scheme to avoid disjointed bodies) Rip and Flat Pattern.

Mfg uses it for programming.

I wouldn't mark that as the solution until you have actually accomplished the techniques I (very briefly) described.

If it were my part - I would start over on the Sweep path for the oil groove as I believe that it can be improved and simplified.

The Derive Component would require some advanced tricks as well.
