Transferring 2015 inventor files to 2014 inventor

I have downloaded the student version of inventor at home and it is the 2015 version but at my school we have the 2014 version of inventor. Is there a way I could save a part file or an assembly file at home (from 2015 version) and still be able to continue working on the files where I last left off at school (on 2014 version)?

Hi!

No you can´t... unless you don´t mind to loose the historic of the features.

You can save in step format and open next in 2014 at school, but you will loose the ability to edit  the parts using the sketch parameters... but, there´s other ways to edit your part with direct edit. try it!

Check the education download site again-- I seem to recall that you can download and install a few previous versions, not just the current one.  See if you can install Inventor 2014 (no need to uninstall 2015) on your home computer.
