If you project a line (from another sketch) or edge of a part, a dark red line is projected in the sketch.

But using the sketch a couple months later you don't know anymore where those projected lines were projected from.

So is there a way to trace where they are projected from?

Press hot key "F8", the sketch constraints will show. Hover your mouse on the projection constraint icon, the original edge and the projected sketch line will both highlighted.

Thanks.

And in case of projected geometry from a source sketch in a destination sketch? (= projected lines / circles / arcs / etc.)

Especially when the source sketch and destination sketch are on the same plane.

And the source sketch is set invisible.
