Tool Paths Software

Hi there,

I am working with my school on creating a new cim course and am wondering which software, Inventor or Fusion 360 is better for creating models and putting toolpaths on them to send to a CNC machine. Thank you for your input.

Actually Inventor and Fusion 360 use the same HSM interface and there's no real (major) difference between them.  However Fusion 360 gets updated quicker than Inventor.   So Fusion 360 may have a new HSM functions or improvement faster than Inventor HSM update.
