The sketch does not contain a valid section line, and will not delete views.

I am trying to delete some views from a drawing in Inventor. I keep getting the message " The sketch does not contain a valid section line", and will not allow me to delete views. Troubleshooting says this was addressed in 2019.4.2. I have Inventor 2019, build 330, Release 2019.4.5  Why is this still an issue, and how do I correct it?  Sorry if I missed someone's fix to this. I thought previous release fixes would be included in the latest update.

Hi! I am sorry I am not aware of the exact issue. Could you show me a prior discussion or a defect ID related to this particular issue? Who told you that it was fixed on 2019.4.2?

Hi! Many thanks for sharing the link! I have taken a look at the page and checked the defect status (INVGEN-15280). It was indeed marked as fixed in 2019.2 and later releases. I also retested the files attached to the defect on 2019.4.8. The error message no longer appears.

If you are still seeing the error message, I assume it will be a separate issue. If possible, please start a new thread and share the files here or with me directly johnson.shiue@autodesk.com. I would like to understand the behavior better.
