TFI Riddle Discussion

First, if you don't know what I am talking about user @Neil_Cross has a superb youtube channel filled with tips and tricks and challenges related to inventor/fusion/3d modeling. Check it out here: TFI Youtube Channel .

So, his last video he posted is a riddle, pretty challenging one too, and maybe we can solve it together here?

He stated in the comments of the video that the hints are sequential, so I assume you don't need step 2 before you solve step 1.

Any clue with this one? Below is the entirety of clue #1.

4292627161619271
180
-1111111111111111
Online 2108147 at 239 is a sign that defines your design (these won't always rhyme)
The window into the søul of the Taurus opens out over the mother road.

The last line I quasi translate to this: (The window into the søul) = eyes (of the Taurus) = bull (opens out over the mother road.) = Route 66... translation is the town of Adrian, Tx. which is the midpoint of Route 66 here in the states which is sometimes called the "bullseye of the Mother's Road". There is a diner there and a small windmill.

Oooooh it's killing me to not give you guys something to go off!

By the way, because I appreciate how taxing this is... and believe me it doesn't get any easier once you're past step 1! I'm in talks with Autodesk to try and offer up some kind of reward for cracking it.  It might take a while to agree on how that would work i.e. if multiple people contribute to solving it but one person submits the final answer, how does that work etc But I want to make this worthwhile spending time on cos it would be very easy to just give up on this.  So stay tuned for that.

Also FYI when I do finalise those details, I'll sticky it to the forum and make another one over on the Fusion 360 area.  Can confirm this can be done in both Inv and F360.

Riddle me this! 😬

hmmm too. wondering if were to apply the 180 to that, as 180 meridian, which is in Greenwich, England. Maybe Neil lives there?

the number in binary to base 10 = 1111111111111111 = 65535

Maybe the symbol in sØul is in reference to a diameter?

I'm not going to lie, my first thought was a torus using the numbers in some way, then thickening it etc. etc. Truly lost.

I reuploaded it to correct an error so there's a new video ID, I didn't create this thread so I didn't know it was hyperlinked here.

This is the current version which is live.

I think we are only going to drive ourselves crazy leading down incorrect paths.

so, taking 4292627161619271 and flipping it using the "180"... then minusing the 1111111111111111, we end up with;

618050506151813

using A=1,B=2 etc... we can get 6=F,18=R,5=E,5=E,6=F,15=O,18=R,13=M

FREEFORM.

The next line "Online 2108147 at 239 is a sign that defines your design" must be figured out to enable us to select the correct freeform tool to use and then figure out the next rules for the data input.

Ive not got any further with this number "2108147". - hopefully somone here could have some input? 🙂

That's impressive @Anonymous

The fact soul contains the diameter symbol there must be a reference to diameter somewhere.

Thanks @leowarren34 ! You're probably right that a diameter measurement is needed, and although there's a mention of taurus, I'm resilient to assume that it's a torus we need to draught. A couple of us in the discord group think that the online 2108147 at 239 is a reference to something which we need to lookup, but we don't have a clue where to start.

It can be something which can be "googled" as that's dependent on location, ads etc and Neil has confirmed this also.

Taurus could mean bull or torus but 239 sounds like a three figure bearing.

Could thickness and Taurus be referring to a bovine hide?

Are there any 5 sided leather patches in a football?
