Sub-assembly views not linking to BOM parts labeling.

I'm trying to detail an assembly and attach bubble numbers everywhere. I have 1 BOM for all the parts.

When I have a drawing view that only has one of the components (sub-assembly or part) and I'm trying to attach a bubble number, I'm getting a window that only lets me use the BOM of that component. I can't seem to link it to the top level assembly BOM that is in the drawing as the BOM Source is greyed out. Is there a some way to do so?

With individual parts in a drawing view, I can link the view title text to the parts BOM, but when I use a sub-assembly I would like to use bubble numbers from the overall drawing BOM, not it's own sub-BOM numbers/information.

Hi!

You have to create a view representation in the main assembly to each part to maintain the Item Number related to the main assembly.
