Style of existing hose route in Tube and Pipe does not update

Hello. 

I have a project with some existing Tube and Piping routes, but I need to change the hose style. Given that sizes lower than 1/4 were not available, I had to create my own hose style and publish it to content editor.

The hose style works fine for newly created routes, but it doesn't allow me to  select it to change it on existing ones in the lowest part of the hose route hierarchy.

My style is called "Vent_small" and as you can see in the image below, it's already created and imported into the Tube and Pipe Styles editor.

The higher parts in the Tube and Pipe hierarchy allow me to select it but take no effect on changing the existing hose.

That is, in this hierarchy, I'm able to select it in Run 09, Flexible Hose 09, but not in Hose09. As you can see in figure 5, if the Flexible Hose 09 is active, I'm able to select the style, but it takes no effect.

So, to summarize, two questions: Why does the style change take no effect on the existing hose, and, why can't I select if I open the hose itself?

Could you please provide a screen shot of the CC family table where the size was added. Is this a brand new family part or is the new size just added to the same family and new style created? Are you using mm in the inch style? You had mentioned only 1/4 was available but I see 1.6mm as the ND size for the style. Please ensure units are consistent.

I was not able to select any style in Flexible Hose 09. the style menu is visible but the drop down arrow is not select-able. So this might be corruption on your end or a variation from release to release. Changing the style in route 09 would be the correct place to change the style of the pipe only style.
