Style and Customize

I am using Factory Design Suite 2013 and for some reason Inventor never holds my preferences for Syle and Customize tabs.  Every time I open inventor I have to import the preferences that I want to use and I am wondering why it doesnt save them as the new default.

Your styles are probably set to read only within your project file, so in a sense, you are simply doing an override each time.

Bring up your project file and make sure your styles are set to Read/Write.

After setting the styles the way you desire, make sure to SAVE the styles (on the Manage tab).

I have the Use Style Library set to Read-Writte, is there another spot that I need to set it to Read-Write

That should be all you need.  Just make sure to Save your styles after you make changes.

(If you have saved parts that already contained the styles you want to use, open the part and then save the styles.)
