Student license on two computers

I have inventor installed on my main bench power-station, while I learn the software.  I'm so impressed, I started telling my friend with his CNC machine and he wanted to me to show it.  I was also interested in seeing what happens when I try to go export and generate the CAM / G-CODE section, and compare it to what he uses now (which he is not happy with).

I would like to install this on my laptop so I can bring it down there and show them.  Will my license allow me to run it on two machines?

Autodesk allows you to install your license on up to two machines, as long as you don't run the software at the same time. So yes you can install a second copy of your license on your laptop.
