It's hard to believe this error still exists in 2016! Guess I'll have to pull out the old FG_LENGTH_FIX macro to deal with it an each FG member. #PITA
Do you have 2016 SP1/R2 loaded?
it addresses something in "frame Generator" but not that explicitly
From the Readme for SP1/R2
70917 Inventor unexpectedly exits when a keyboard entry is used to choose frame size during frame creation. 51048 Slight performance improvements were made to the exported parameter update.
Hi Donovan.
Yes, R2 installed. I'm able to run the FG_Precise-Length macro to fix the problem.
Which reminds me I must update my signature file
Do your parts have multiple end treatments? Like a trim and a notch? I've found that I get this error if I have both, and do the notch first. Our rule of thumb is, trim first... always, then notch. If this isn't it.... then I don't have a clue.

Hi Chris. Thanks for the input.
I'm aware of the tweak acheived by doing operations in an order. In this case the end treatments on the problem member are all trims. 2 on 1 end and 1 on the other and the order doesn't make any difference.
