Sqrt and exponent (^) in parameters don't function properly

The sqrt and exponent (^) math functions in parameters of Inventor 2022 do not function properly. With the part units in inches, when doing sqrt(2ul) or (2ul)^0.5ul, the answer comes out as 0.556777. Regardless of units, this should not be the answer. I've found that in order to get that answer, inventor is doing sqrt((2 / 2.54) / 2.54)). Putting in sqrt(2in) or (2in)^0.5ul gets an answer of 0.887357, which means it's doing sqrt(2 / 2.54). Note: ul works as cm, for some reason.

Hi! I think you need to append *1in to your equation. In your case, the parameter unit and the equation unit are not equal. Inventor tries to make sense of it by doing some conversion. But, it ends up erroneous.

As long as the parameter unit and the equation unit are the same, it should work.

Many thanks!
