Spacemouse stops working with Inventor

Hi!

I have a very anoying problem with my spacemouse (3D-connexion SpaceNavigator USB) in Autodesk Inventor 2016 (and 2018).

When I have a fresh started computer (re-booted) and I start Autodesk Inventor 2016, my spacemouse works just fine. But after a while it stops working. I have noticed that this occure when I work a lot with importing STEP-files. I can import and work with 1,2,3....10,11 STEP-files, but suddenly it stops working.

When I work just with Inventor native files iam, ipt, idw, I think that this problem never occurs.

I have had this problem for a long time now, and I decided to wait until we upgraded to Inventor 2018, and hoped that this would solve the problem. But no.

Please, I need to get this sorted out.

If you haven't update the driver, its here: https://www.3dconnexion.com/service/drivers.html

There is also a shortcut to Stop and Start the 3DConnexion driver in Start Menu.

That problem does come up sometime.  A restart or Stop and Start the driver will work.
